Free Grief Support Group
The Free Grief Support Group will be led by Nancy Harper, therapist.
Dates will be released in 2019
GriefShare , a faith-based adult bereavement support group at Grace United Methodist Church in Hartford City. A series of thirteen sessions will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM and from 6:30-8:30 PM. Confidential sharing and discussion along with prayer will be featured, as well as DVD presentations focusing on pertinent topics. A workbook is available for purchase. Adult & Children Bereavement Services
At IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital , they provide support services to persons who have experienced the death of a loved one. Grief, bereavement and mourning caused by the death of a loved one can be emotionally, physically and spiritually difficult. Their Bereavement Services Program assists professionals, families, friends, as well as staff, with the handling and coping of grief.

Torchlight Counseling Services is a faith-based, outpatient counseling corporation located in Middletown, Indiana. Their goal is to support people in finding hope and healing in the midst of their struggles.

The site’s founder, Tom Golden LCSW, has provided book excerpts and contact information to help those healing from loss.

Growth House is an award-winning website that offers international resources for life-threatening illnesses and end of life care. The site features hypertext topic pages that explain major issues across the spectrum of hospice and home care, palliative care, pain management, grief, death with dignity, and quality improvement. It also offers disease-specific guides, an online bookstore, and even their own radio station.
