Sarah M. Dobbs

Sarah M. "Sally" Dobbs, 63, passed away September 30, 2016 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. Sally was born in Morehead, Kentucky, on April 22, 1953 and married Carson R. Dobbs on March 5, 1976. His death occurred January 18, 2005. She was a member of Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle, Dunkirk.

She is survived by a son, Richard (Emily) Stevens; granddaughters, Bethanie Stevens and Shana (Kyle) Goodwin; great-granddaughter, Brayleigh Goodwin; brothers, Johnny (Marcella) Hudson and Wayne (Dorothy) Hudson; sister, Peggy Tucker; sister-in-law, Martha Hudson; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Marilyn Dobbs and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, William Ezra Stevens and Ida Mae Hudson, brother, Jeff Hudson and sisters, Freda Gee and Marcine Williams. The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery.
