Sandra Tucker, 62, died unexpectedly on January 8, 2021 at her home in Lafayette, Indiana.

The daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Abbott) Strine, Sandra was born on November 1, 1958 in in Hartford City. She was a 1979 graduate of Blackford High School and later attended Purdue University.

Sandra worked for Purdue University for several years as a technical writer and editor.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Tucker of Warren; two sisters, Beverly Dickey (Terry) of Hartford City and Karen Pierce (James) of Hoopeston, Illinois; three grandchildren: Chad, Tony and Victoria; four great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Phyllis Strine.

No public services are planned. Sandra will be laid to rest at Hartford City Cemetery.
