Randie Storer

Randie P. Storer, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born in Blackford County September 8, 1951 to Denzil W. and Wanda J. (Waters) Storer and graduated from Hartford City High School in 1969.

Randie was retired and worked in factory maintenance many years. He was an avid IU fan and enjoyed watching sports.

Randie was a member of the Sons of American Legion and Sons of Amvets.

Survivors include his long-term partner, Susan Harrell, one son, Ryan Storer, one daughter, Angela Storer Ruble, one sister, Cassie (Alan) Basting, two brothers, Rickii (Patti) Storer and Robbie (Paula) Storer, four grandchildren, Chase, Brandon, Alexis Ruble and Aryana Storer, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Blake, and a brother, Ronnie.

A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
