ROBERT RENNER Obituary
Robert W. Renner, 93, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 in Hoosier Village, Indianapolis. He retired as President of Citizens State Bank (now First Financial Bank) of Hartford City.
Bob married Betty Baughman in Ligonier on October 22, 1944 and they resided in South Bend and Muncie before moving to Hartford City.
Mr. Renner was also Past President and Director of Indiana Bankers Association, Chairman of Community Bankers Association, Founder and President of Blackford Economic Development Corp., President of League for Economic Development, President and Director of First State Bank, Dunkirk and Chairman and Director of First National Bank of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, his son, Robert Renner, Jr., four brothers, Harold, Gerald, Bill and Richard Renner and two sisters, Ellen Stutzman and Frances Stutzman.
Friends may call at Waters Funeral Home from 3 – 7 p.m. Monday, June 1 and one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
The family would like to thank the Hoosier Village of Zionsville, Indiana for their excellent love and care given to Mr. Renner.
