Lydia Kay Hyatt, infant daughter of Paul and Karissa Hyatt, died on March 31, 2024 at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Lydia was born on March 23, 2024 in Indianapolis to Karissa (Whitesell) Hyatt and her husband, Paul.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Dennis and Lyn Whitesell; paternal grandparents, Kimberly Hyatt (Dereck Rappuhn) and Dan Hyatt; maternal great-grandparents, Ted and Kay Waters; uncles, Logan Whitesell (Kayla) and Doug Hyatt (Courtney Jones); aunts, Amy Taylor (Josh) and Helen Whitesell (Connor Gulley); cousins: Macy, Isaac, Keegan, Caleb, and Kimberlyn; as well as several great-uncles and great-aunts.

A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Father Peter Logsdon will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, 7321 E State Road 18, Bryant, IN 47326. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W Washington St., Hartford City with a Christian Wake Service starting at 7:00 p.m.

Additional visitation prior to services will be held at the church starting at 10:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made in Lydia’s name to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity or Riley Children’s Hospital for the Simon Family Tower NICU, 705 Riley Hospital Drive, SFT NICU W4503 C, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
