HARTFORD CITY, IN-
Louanna (Love) Mossburg, 95, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 30, 2022 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hartford City, after a long illness.
A native and life resident of Blackford County, born November 27, 1926, she was one of five children of the late John and Monta (Slater) Love, graduating from Hartford City High School, class of 1944.
She married Robert L. Mossburg on February 2, 1963. They celebrated twenty years of marriage, when he died, June 25, 1983.
Louanna was a long-time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Business and Professional Women, the Trowel & Error Graden Club and served many years on the Board of Directors of the former Hartford City Cemetery Association.
She retired from the Citizens First State Bank (now First Financial Bank) of Hartford City, after forty years of faithful service, retiring as Assistant Vice President.
Surviving are three nieces: Kari A. (Tim) Mitchener, Joan Valente and Ann (Philip) Gardner; one nephew, Steve Denton. Two great-nephews: Robert (Ashley) Denton and Aaron (Anna) Denton; two great-nieces: Kayla (Brandon) Smith and Kelly (Cameron) Helvie; two, great-great-nephews and a great-great niece, also survive.
She is preceded in death by all of her siblings: Hansel S. Love, John A. Love, Don L. Love and Margaret Jane Denton and two nephews; Les Love and Mark Love.
