HARTFORD CITY, IN—
Keith D. Cansler, 67, of Hartford City, died February 1, 2025 at his home of natural causes.
A life resident of Hartford City, he was the youngest of six children, born to Eugene Franklin and L. Laverne (Murrell) Cansler and was a graduate of Blackford high School.
Keith worked at Allen County Ford for many years, prior to retirement. He enjoyed anything automotive, trucks or cars- especially Corvettes and was a life member of the Corvette Museum of Bowling Green, KY.
He leaves behind his son, Cory Mansfield (Misty Pursley) of Montpelier; his grandson Landon Mansfield; brother, Rick Cansler, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins on both the Cansler and Murrell sides.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his long-time companion, Carol Vincent, on Mar. 26, 2023; a sister Betty Carell and three brothers: Eddie Lee Cansler, Eldon James Cansler and Kenneth Cansler.
Services will be at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, Feb. 11th in Waters Funeral Home, Hartford City, with Pastor Kevin Lex presiding. Private burial will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie, following services.
