Jeanette (Neace) Campbell, 84
It is with great sorrow and even rejoicing that we announce the peaceful passing from this life into a new life in Heaven of Jeanette Neace Campbell on August 4, 2024 at the age of 84 in her home surrounded by family and friends.
Jeanette was born on October 5, 1939 during World War II and the Great Depression to John and Sally Neace from Dunraven, Kentucky. She would later go on to meet and marry the love of her life, Herbert Campbell. They were blessed with three wonderful daughters as well as two children whom she loved as her own.
She was well known for her love of God, where she would often sing standing by her loving husband’s side. Her love for others was endless as she raised not only her kids but also helped raise grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived by two of her three biological children, Sandra Wooton (and Charles), Claudia Ann Campbell Rockwell and her two adopted children Cynthia (and Eli) Johnson and David (and Kathryn) Rivera.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Campbell, her daughter Mattie Marie Campbell Stacy (and Brian Stacy) and Robert “Bob” Rockwell (spouse Claudia Ann Campbell Rockwell). Her sisters, Juanita (and husband Raleigh) Campbell, Hazel (and AC) Campbell, Della Campbell (who is still survived by her husband Mac), Reva (and Tensley) Campbell and Ellen Neace Rivera.
She leaves behind her grandchildren: Rebecca Lynn Hudson (children Terry Adams, Erin Hudson Picco (and Justin), Carson Hudson, Cora Speece), William Bransford Wooton (children Addalyn Renee, Tallen Dean, Keagan Bransford), Nathan Wooton, Daniel Wooton, Eddie Wesley Stacy (children Joshua Caleb, Michael Caleb), Herbert Stacy, Donna Stacy (daughter Amy Curtis), Robert Rockwell, Ricki Rockwell, Kody Rockwell, Elisa Rivera and Ellana Johnson. A celebration of Jeanette’s life and the profound love her family had for her is planned for Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Waters Funeral Home in Hartford City, Indiana from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Pastor Ferrell Long will be officiating beginning at 1:00 p.m.
