Other surviving family members include nieces, Sara Haney, Melissa James (Keith), Cristy Matthews (Kenny), Angela Pulley, Mary Getty and Rosealee Hoffman. Niece Nancy Hutson preceded Harriett in death. Surviving nephews are Robert Smith (Susie), Jay Hoffman (Kathy), Todd Hoffman (Teri), Jim Lloyd (Vivian), and David Pulley. Several great nieces and nephews also survive Harriett. Harriett was preceded in death by brothers -in-law Robert Smith, Daniel Haney, and Tom Gray and a sister-in-law, Glenda K. Hoffman. There will be only a private family viewing at Waters Funeral Home in Hartford City. A Mass of Christian Burial for the public will be celebrated by Father Dave Newton at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6 in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 209 S. Spring St., Hartford City. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Lifestream Services, 1923 W. Fourth St., Marion, IN 46952, or to the Blackford County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 70, Hartford City, IN 47348. We put our faith in Jesus, and we thank all who knew and loved Harriett.
