ELSIE M. LOVE

HARTFORD CITY, IN Elsie M. Love, 84, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Muncie Health & Rehabilitation Center. The daughter of Albert and Anna (Price) Clamme, she was born October 10, 1925 in Hartford City. She graduated from Hartford City High School in 1942 and attended Ball State Teachers College. Elsie was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. Elsie married Hansel S. Love in Indianapolis on August 11, 1946. His death occurred on April 17, 1995. Her memberships include Zion Lutheran Church and Garden Club. Survivors include: two sons, Les Love, Hartford City and Mark Love, Muncie; two daughters, Joan (Steve) Valente, North Carolina and Ann (Phillip) Gardner, Pendleton and a sister-in-law and good friend, Louanna Mossburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Paul, Norman, and Elmer Clamme and two sisters, Marguerite Willman and Ruth Willmann. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 19 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Pastor Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, July 18 and after 1 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be sent to Zion Lutheran Church or Grant-Blackford Mental Health Association.
