HARTFORD CITY, IN—
Delores Ann Paver passed away on April 14, 2021.
She was born October 25, 1935, in Hartford City, to J. Earl Stanley and Grace (Marshall). She graduated from Hartford City High School in 1953. Delores met her husband, Ted Paver, while working with him at Fordies Drive-In. They were married in 1954 at the E.U. B. Church.
She was a school bus driver for the Blackford County Schools for many years. Delores and her husband enjoyed playing euchre and square dancing with her close friends, Pete and Gertrude Metz.
Delores is survived by brothers Richard Stanley and Ray (Linda) Stanley and sister Karen Kitterman; grandchildren Jennifer (Tim) Wood and Jason (Yifel Liu) Faas; daughter-in-law, Shirley Thomas Paver; son-in-law, Danny Bibb; sister-in-law, Sally Stanley, many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Gertrude Metz.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Nancy, son Michael; sisters Helen (Marvin) McClain, Zelma (Robert) Everhart, Mabel (Charles) Smith, Betty (Henry) Dollar and brothers Merrill (Faustine) Stanley, William (Ruth) Stanley and Paul Stanley. She also is preceded by a brother-in-law, James Kitterman.
Due to Covid-19, there will be private services held at Waters Funeral Home, with Chaplain Brian Riggs officiating. Burial to follow at Gardens of Memory in Muncie, Indiana.
