Billy Bob Bell, 75, passed away unexpectedly August 14, 2019 at his home.

He was born in Hartford City on March 11,1944 to Hurcheal E. and Elma (Schwartzkopf) Bell and graduated from Hartford City High School in 1962.

Bill served six years in the National Guard.

On November 20, 1965 he married Sandra Kellogg in Hartford City.

Bill worked as a Journeyman Plumber and ran his own business for several years, ultimately retiring in 2008 from R.T. Moore, Indianapolis.

Bill’s hobbies were restoring and preserving Model A cars and trucks with his sons and grandsons and watching westerns on TV.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra, Kokomo; daughter, Tonya (Kevin) Ward, Peru; two sons, Terry (Lois) Bell, Russiaville and Lance (Robyn) Bell, Peru; two sisters, Delora Nash, Huntington and Cheryl (Don) Mills, Hartford City; ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Nole Dean Bell.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St. Hartford City with Brian Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery.
