In Loving Memory of Timothy Leroy Wolfe

October 18, 2026 | Age 44

Timothy Leroy Wolfe, affectionately known as “Timmy” or “Tim” to his family and friends, age 44, of Hartford City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026.

To know Timmy was to know someone you would never forget. He was stubborn, hardheaded, full of personality, and had a heart bigger than he probably wanted anyone to know. He never knew a stranger and had a special way of making people laugh, even on their hardest days. Whether he was cracking jokes, giving someone a hard time, or flashing his famous middle-finger salute, Timmy always found a way to leave people smiling.

Timmy enjoyed the simple things in life, especially fishing, cheering on his Indianapolis Colts, and spending time with those around him. He was the family jokester, always ready with a smart remark or a funny story. He might give you a hard time one minute and be the first to lend a helping hand the next. Timmy wasn’t perfect, and he never claimed to be, but he was unapologetically himself, and that’s what made him unforgettable.

Timmy is survived by his children, Isiah and Madison; his grandchildren, Peyzlee and Everlee Sage; his father, Richard Leroy Wolfe II, and his wife, Gladys; Rita Litchfield and her husband, Lloyd; his siblings, Tim Clegg and his wife, Bethany, Chad Garrett, Richard Wolfe III and his wife, Trudy, Heather Wolfe, and Tammy

Huffman and Adam; his stepbrother, Steve Parker and his wife, Melanie; his stepsister, Michelle Shelton and her husband, Chris; and his nieces and nephews, Rozlynn Wolfe, Chandler Huffman and Amia, Darrian Poor, Brayden Overmyer, Dylan Brehm, Parker Clegg, and Leanna Clegg.

He is also survived by Bryson Overmyer, Brayden’s son, who shared a special bond with Timmy; his grandfathers, Richard Wolfe I and Steve Kellogg, and Steve’s wife, Linda Kellogg; along with many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Carol Wolfe and Barbara Kellogg, and his uncle, Steve Kellogg.

Forty-four years was far too short, and while saying goodbye is never easy, Timmy leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, stories, and memories that will never be forgotten. His family and friends will forever remember his humor, his stubborn ways, and the one-of-a-kind personality that made him Timmy.

Rest easy, Timmy. May the fish always be biting, the Colts always be winning, and may you keep everyone laughing wherever you are. We would give anything for one more joke, one more laugh, or even one more middle finger. Until we meet again, you will always be loved and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with funeral services immediately following at 6:00 PM at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington Street, Hartford City, Indiana.

Family and friends are welcome to gather to celebrate Timmy’s life, share memories, and honor the laughter and love he leaves behind
