Thomas A. Brown, 85, prominent Hartford City attorney, passed away June 21, 2016 in Marion. He married Ann Bohdan in Oak Park, Illinois.  Her death occurred on December 19, 2009.  Tom served his country in the Army during the Korean War. His memberships include First Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge 106, Blackford Shrine Club, Sigma Pi Fraternity, American Legion Post 159 and former member of the Elks Lodge 625. He was past president of Hartford City Rotary and served on the board of Blackford County Mental Health Association. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his daughter, Megan Orr. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
