Steve M. Rees

May 24, 1953 – Aug. 25, 2022

Steve M. Rees, 69, of Marion, died at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, at Stillwater Hospice of Ft. Wayne, after a recent battle with cancer.

He was born and raised in Hartford City, one of four children of Floyd M. "Bud" and Rosemary (Dutton) Rees. He initially worked as a meatcutter at Joe's IGA and retired from Holsum Bakery after thirty years of service.

He is survived by two brothers:  Robert (Estralla) Rees and Bruce Rees, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Nicki Constable; two aunts: Peggy Fleming and Glenda "Tootie" Brunson and his uncle, Keith Rees
