Obituary

Philip Richard Beckley

Philip Richard Beckley, our beloved cowboy, died on September 28, 2021 after an extended illness. He was 73.

Phil graduated from Hartford City High School in 1966.  Phil proudly served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam War.  Phil was a skilled tradesman and worked a variety of jobs, including working on the pipeline in Wyoming and Texas and ran his own handyman service until he retired.

He was a hard-working, loyal and strong man who loved his family and was thankful for everyone in his life.  He lived hard and he loved hard.

Phil is survived by his life partner, Pamela Davis.  Phil stopped by her house on a night in February of 1991 and never left.  He also is survived by his brother Rick Beckley and his wife, Lou Ann; his sister, Sandy Dohallow and her husband, Tim; his brother Gary Beckley; his children Lorri Smith and her husband, Chuck; Chris Beckley, Chad Beckley and his wife, Krystal and Pamela's children:  Sally Schnese and her husband Robert and Shelley Harper.

One of Phil's greatest joys in life was his grandchildren. They are:  Dane and Carson Smith, Brianna Gregory, Mason Beckley and Haley and Joey Harper.
