Pamela A. Griffith

HARTFORD CITY, IN—

Pamela A. Griffith, 75 passed away late Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023 at her home in Hartford City.

She was the daughter of Lloyd E. Fowler and Ruth E. (Starr) Rauch, born in Portland, Indiana on February 5, 1948.  Pam grew-up in the Jay, Randolph and Mercer County areas.

Pam owned and operated her own private, dental laboratory but was known for her cooking and baking skills.  Not only her family encouraged her, but everywhere she resided, those that knew her encouraged her to open her own restaurant or sweet shop, at minimum.

Turtle cheesecake was her specialty and will be missed by those that have had the opportunity to sample such.

She married James L. Griffith on August 18, 1995.  He precedes her in death, on May 7, 2009.  Her father also precedes her on June 1, 2011; mother, on February 4, 2021; brothers:  Monte Fowler 2014 and Ted Fowler 2019.

She leaves behind her boyfriend, Ron Smith; her daughter, Charlotte Grant; her sister, Teresa McDaniel; grandson, Nathan (Ashley) Grant; great-grandsons: Trystan Grant and Anthony Grant, as well as several nieces and nephews.
