Nancy L. Gould, 81, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013, in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Nancy worked at Blackford County Hospital as a nursing assistant, retiring January 15, 1996. Survivors include her son, Michael (Janet) Gilland, Hartford City; two grandchildren,  Jason (Erika) Short and Stacey (Steve) Lambert; six great-grandchildren, Griffin Short, Olivia Short, Jessica (Jaycee) Heeter, Grant Lambert, Molly Lambert and Isabella Short; and a niece, Barbara Houseman. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18 in Gardens of Memory with Father Dave Newton officiating. Memorials may be made in the form of masses or to the donor's favorite charity.
