Lucinda E. (Cindy) Kellogg, 74, died on Monday, July 9, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born on February 20, 1944 in Marion, Indiana to Earl and Ethel (Carroll) Preston. Cindy was a 1962 graduate of Jefferson Township High School near Upland.

Cindy grew up in East Central Indiana with her best friends, niece and nephew, Gail and Jeff. She would go on to work as a sales service representative for International Paper in Hartford City.

Cindy formerly attended Grace United Methodist Church where she sung in the choir. In her younger years she enjoyed singing in the Adams County Extension Choir. She had a passion for reading and love her family, especially her grandchildren.

Cindy will be missed by her daughter, Erica Ussery (Craig) of Hartford City; her grandchildren: Logan Crawford, Vincent Ussery and Anthony Ussery; a brother, Bill Preston (Mary) of Upland, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick Preston and Earl Lee Preston and a sister, Jackie Smith.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford St. with Brian Waters officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13 and from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to services Saturday.
