Lucille M. (Headley) Harrell, 93, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Hamilton Trace, Fishers.

She was born September 21, 1924 in Geneva, Alabama.

Lucy was married to Hartford City Mayor Merle Headley in Panama City, Florida on October 25, 1944 and lived in Hartford City from 1946 to 1995. After Merle's death, she married Richard Harrell in 1996 and lived in Marion until her illness.

Lucy worked as a teller, home economist and in marketing for Indiana & Michigan in Marion retiring in 1989. She wrote her own cookbook and hosted her own cooking show on television in Marion for several years.

Her memberships include the Grace United Methodist Church, Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Purity Chapter 126 of the Order of Eastern Star, Blackford Country Club where she made 3 holes in one and Meshingomesia Country Club, Marion. Lucy was also the first female President of Hartford City Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Jane Robinson, Key Colony Beach, FL, one grandson, Kelley (Melissa) DeBoliac, Hartford City, three step-daughters, Susan (Jerry) Griffey, Muncie, Karen (Gary) Shumway, Carmel, Beth (Mike) Williams, Fishers and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Studebaker, Lilyana DeBoliac, Olivia DeBoliac, and Lucy Deboliac. Also surviving are several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City.
