Lois A. Rogers, 76, died on Monday, July 2, 2018 at her home.

She was born on March 10, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana to Ira and Catherine (Murphy) McIntire. She attended Muncie schools and would work for several businesses as a seamstress.

Lois had a passion for baking and flowers as well as sewing but what she loved most was her family, including her cats and dogs. She was known for her talents as a seamstress, making beautiful quilts which she loved to share with others. She enjoyed gifting them to family and friends as well as taking them to multiple shows and consignments. She had many talents and showed a great love of others she shared her life with. She will be dearly missed.

Lois is survived by her children: Angel Morris, Janine Caley (Richard), Gail Watterson, and Paula Cook; her mother, Catherine McIntire; her partner in life and best friend, Rick Bell; brother, Sam McIntire, and her sister, Shirley McFarland (Fred), eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Ira McIntire, a daughter Tina Morris and a granddaughter, Amber Mullinix.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Pastor Keith Williams officiating.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City.
