Hartford City She was born October 31, 1942 to Charles and Lillian (Nappen) Wickham in Minot, North Dakota. Joan graduated from Minot High School in 1960 and from Minot State College in 1964. She married Frederick N. Strine in Minot on December 20, 1963. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the church choir, and the Ladies Quilting Group at church. She also sang with Blackford Community Choir, the Purdue Home Extension Group and the Marion Easter Pageant for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred, and her brother, James Wickham. Friends may call on Friday, September 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City and on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
