Jeffrey L. Speece, 68, passed away in his sleep on December 10, 2018 after a brief illness.

He was born on November 6, 1950 in Hartford City, Indiana to Clarence and Bonnie (Buckmaster) Speece. He was a 1969 graduate of Montpelier High School and went on to graduate from Ball State University.

Jeff married Susan McGeath and together they would have two children.

He worked for Lafayette Venetian Blinds for over 26 years, retiring in 2018.

He is survived by his children, Jami Wineberg and Dylan Speece; a granddaughter, Reese Wineberg and a half- brother, Steve Bloom.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by a brother Scott Speece and the mother of his children, Susan Speece.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City, IN.
