Jeannette M. Worden, 93, passed away June 11, 2018 at her residence in Weatherford, Texas.

She was born June 19, 1924 in Portage County, Wisconsin to Charles and Bessie (Ward) Leary.

She married Robert Worden on December 15, 1945 after his return from duty in WW II. The family lived in St. Paul for several years, moving to Hartford City in 1959.

Jeannette was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Hartford City and the 20th Century Club. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, embroidery and other crafts.

After Bob's retirement from 3M Company, they lived in Green Valley, AZ for 20 years. She then moved to Hartford City for several years.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Kay (Ted) Waters, Hartford City; Susan (Will) Clark, Canby, Oregon and Nancy Woods, Hurst, TX; 7 grandchildren, Tod ( Melanie) Waters, Lynette (Dennis) Whitesell, Lisa (Clifton) Rinker, Laura Waters, all of Hartford City, Brian (Paige) Waters, Eaton, Chad Walther, Dallas, TX and Andrea Walther, Arkansas. Also surviving are 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, and a sister.

A Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Rev. Susan Finley officiating.

Friends may call from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday.
