Janice Ellen Holtzleiter, 85, life resident of the Upland-Hartford City area, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Bridgewater Centre, Hartford City. Janice was a homemaker and worked at 3-M Company for 31 years retiring in 1990. She loved flowers, gardening, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: three daughters, Theresa Moorman, Hartford City, Connie (Michael) Williams, Orlando, FL and Elizabeth (Steve) Gress, Morrisville, NC; seven grandchildren including Robin Johnson (fiancé Kevin Hicks), whom she raised; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Theresa and Robin were her devoted caregivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Dave Newton at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11 in St. John's Catholic Church, 209 S. Spring St., Hartford City. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Muncie. The Christian Wake Service will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
