Gregory A. Pace, 57, passed away on January 8, 2019 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Greg was born on August 2, 1961 in Marion, Indiana to Jack and Kate Pace. He was a 1979 graduate of Southern Wells and married Susanne Rinker on December 19, 1980 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hartford City. Together they lived and raised their two children in Hartford City.

Greg worked at several places over the year but most recently owned and operated G&S Rural Woodworking.

He enjoyed working with the Growers & Makers Market and Blackford County Arts Center "Arts Place" in Hartford City.

His loving family include his wife of 38 years, Susanne Pace; two children, Colt Pace (Nicole) and Casey Bolling (John); his parents, Jack and Kate Pace; four grandchildren: Oden Pace, Thomas Bolling, Cailynn Bolling, and Kane Bolling; three brothers: Bob Pace (fiancé, Vikkie), Dan Pace (Dawn) and Steve Pace (fiancé, Kristi); mother-in-law, Sue Rinker; brother-in-law, Jeff Rinker (Deanna); sister-in-law, Debbie Jones (Eric) and brother-in-law, Clifton Rinker (Lisa), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Clifford Rinker.

A private Celebration of Life is planned.

Waters Funeral Home of Hartford City is entrusted with arrangements.
