Evelyn T. Daily Langdon, 90, passed away Thursday, October 09, 2014, at her home, in the company of her family. On October 19, 1947 she married Richard M. Daily in Liberty Center, moving to Trenton where they operated the Trenton Store for many years. Richard's death occurred February 22, 1977. Evelyn devoted 40 years to nursing and caring for the sick. She worked at Caylor-Nickel Clinic in obstetrics and surgery. She retired in 1988 from Community Care Center (now Bridgewater Centre). She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Max) Bennett, Montpelier, and Susan (Randall) Gorski, Hartford City; one brother, John (Mary) Noe, Mooresville, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Jennifer L. Bennett, Carrie Gorski-Murphy(Paul), Ryan (Kasey) Bennett, and Randall Gorski II. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 12 at 2:30 P.M. in Grace United Methodist Church, 312 W. Washington St. with Rev. W. Lloyd Hall presiding. Burial will follow in Hartford City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
