Clara E. Bilbrey, 76, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Bilbrey was born October 26, 1935 in Muncie, the daughter of Lurton and Elsie (Jones) Boyd. She married Hollis D. Bilbrey in Inglewood, California on November 23, 1959. Clara was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved taking care of children. Survivors include her children: Hollis Bilbrey, Jr. (fiancé, Julie Flatter), Montpelier, Terry (Darlena) Bilbrey, Hartford City, Diana (Gary) Irwin, Kansas City, Missouri, and Jody (Tonya) Bilbrey, Hartford City; two sisters, Lois (Gary) Keller and Marilyn (Ray) Miller; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Charles Bilbrey, a brother Marvin "Pete" Boyd, a sister, Barbara Clanin, and a daughter-in-law, Fran Bilbrey. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13 in Waters Funeral Home, 501 W. Washington St., Hartford City with Pastor Stephen Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Eaton. Friends may call from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at the funeral home.
