Charles was born January 26, 1927 in Rockford, Ohio. After graduating from Rockford High School, he attended Bowling Green State University and obtained a degree in medicine from Ohio State University in 1954. Prior to graduation from college, he served in the Navy Reserves from 1945 to 1946. His hobbies included reading, flying in his airplane and collecting cut glass from the American Brilliant Period. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Lela (High) Dudgeon of Rockford, Ohio, his brother, Clois Dudgeon, of Rockford, Ohio and his son, Douglas Dudgeon of Indianapolis. Memorial donations may be given to any charity of choice in memory of Charles.
