Joyce D. Deffenbaugh, 78, passed away September 20, 2019 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Jay County on August 21, 1941 to Ora Lee and Ada (Brosher) Collett and attended Redkey schools and Ivy Tech.

On March 31, 1956 she married Marion G. Deffenbaugh.

Joyce worked as a glass decorator retiring from Westclair Glass in 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Kim (Edie) Deffenbaugh, Madison, IN and Lance (Judy) Deffenbaugh, Fredricksburg, VA and one daughter, Melinda (Tom) Clester, Upland; grandchildren, Adam (Michelle) Deffenbaugh, Amy Deffenbaugh, Matthew (Kelley) Deffenbaugh, Jennifer Bardill, Rachel Cumberledge, Sarah (Romeo) Del Cid, John Deffenbaugh, James Deffenbaugh, Jared Clester, Mallory Clester and Andrew Clester; great-grandchildren, Lance Deffenbaugh, Luke Deffenbaugh, Abigail Cumberledge, Rooney Del Cid, Madeline Bardill, Aiden Bardill and Piper Bardill. Also surviving are brothers, Steven (Kim) Collett, Mike Collett (Pam Smart), Tony Collett and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marion, one brother, Nick Collett, and one daughter, Penny Wilson on April 5, 2019.

A Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Hillcrest Cemetery, Redkey.
