Upland, IN --

David Jesse Twibell, 38, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 in IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

He was born September 8, 1980 in Hartford City to David Vogel and Carol Ann (Twibell) Tarr. He was a life resident of the area except for a brief stay in Arizona.

David was a good, kind, generous and thoughtful soul and loved his cat, Izrael.

He worked as a CNA in several area nursing homes including Miller’s Merry Manor, University Nursing Home and Bridgewater Centre.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Tarr, his father, David (Beverly) Vogel; wife, Julia Twibell; sisters, Teryl (Lee) Brodhagen, Christina Lostutter and Melisa (Randy) Price; Aunts: Taska Brown and Elaine Saylor; Uncles: Michael (Teresa) Vogel and Lewis W. (Vicki) Twibell, Jr.; several nieces and nephews including: Zane Scire, Brittany Simmon, John Beckham, Christian Lostutter, Colton Lostutter and Calob Lostutter, Tonya & Mark Cornett, Tiffany & Shawn Cannon and several cousins.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in Asbury Cemetery, located at the intersection of State Road #3 and county road 1000 S., Wells County, with his uncle Lewis Twibell, presiding.
